Westwards from Cetara and at the mouth of another inlet, the marina of Erchie rises up with its Torre Erchie, a quadrangular tower overlooking the picturesque beach.

Terraced vineyards and citrus groves are perfectly visible.

Santa Maria de Irchi’s Benedictine abbey, founded in 980 and suppressed in 1451, gave the name to this place which today has become a tourist destination, especially in the summer.

This small hamlet, with its characteristic white houses, delightful beaches and crystal clear sea, is the ideal place for those seeking some relaxation in contact with nature.

To the east of Erchie lies Capo d’Orso, a stocky promontory dominated by Mount Piano and hosting a lighthouse.
